Game Master The heart and soul of any good customer service operation, Game Masters are directly responsible for customer relations. Not all customer related issues are cut-and-dry however, so the Game Master must be able to think outside of the box, have a strong knowledge of the game they are working on, and demonstrate both patience and compassion when dealing when problems. Game Masters work directly with the producer and developers, and thus must show great ability in working with others. Responsibilities Providing technical and account related support to customers, both through our Q&A system and e-mails Running and managing numerous events. Game Masters are also expected to understand the game better than anyone, and will be called upon to help come up with new event ideas. Relay bugs and technical problems to the producer and developers. Moderate forums, while also recruiting volunteers to help with both game and forum management. Being a constant in-game presence in order to answer player questions, and relay player satisfaction and requests to both the producer and developers. Requirements Any college, preferably with a Bachelors Degree Strong knowledge of online gaming Fluent in English, and strong communication and writing skills A resident of the Silicon Valley, or willing to relocate to the area Looking for Strong organization skills, with an ability to complete tasks on time Previous experience as a Game Master for an online game Proficient in MSWord, Power Point, and Excel A resident of the Silicon Valley, or willing to relocate to the area
